Students will:

• enter the classroom quietly
• check the daily agenda, retrieve all materials for class, and take a seat
  • everyday materials include, but are not limited to: pencil; binder; rBook; computer.
• complete homework outside of class
• remain awake, alert, attentive, and engaged in class activities
• be respectful to your classmates and teachers
• refrain from bringing gum, candy, snacks, etc. into the classroom
• bring no liquids, other than water in a clear bottle, into the classroom
• pursue all individual questions, complaints, suggestions, and requests at appropriate non-class times
• attend AM/PM tutorial if you need extra help or have missed a day of school due to absence
• follow all rules set forth by the CSE student handbook
• follow course protocols and procedures, including both classroom and testing rules

The teacher will:

• create a safe learning environment for all students
• foster a life-long love of learning through reading, writing, listening, and speaking
